Sayaka Isoyama was born in October, 1983 in the town of Ibaraki Hokota. She was educated at Hokota High School and from an early age was fascinated by two things, sport, particularly baseball and music. At school she managed the school baseball team and is highly knowledgeable about the sport. She is also an expert rollerblader. Whilst still at school she learned to play the trumpet and she still plays when she gets the chance. Sh got discovered whilst in her final year by the talent agency, Hori, and she signed a contract with them very soon after.
