Miho’s big break came in 2003 when she was given the role of Officer Saori Saga on the TV series “Taiho shichauzo”. Later that year she would land two big screen roles, the first as Kame in Ganryujima, and the second as Azusa Kisaragi in the second film of Masaaki Tezuka’s MechaGodzilla trilogy “Gojira tai Mosura tai Mekagojira: Tôkyô S.O.S.” (The third film “Godzilla X Godzilla” was scrapped for “Godzilla Final Wars”) The role of Azusa would bring her international attention and more television and movie roles. Miho Yoshioka most recently starred in “Anata wo wasurenai” with Takatoshi Kaneko and Hideko Hara.
Miho Yoshioka should continue to gain more roles and popularity. Hopefully we will be able to see more of her on this side of the Pacific in the near future.
